Every once in a while, I pick a company and do what I call a "blitz" on them....ie. find and post every deck I can find for them to try to catch up their listings. I had put off adding many Powell decks for a while because in my head, I only remembered them putting out mostly reissues of the same 8-10 graphics in different colorways and such, so it did not really interest me to spend time on that while I could be adding actual “new” graphics from other companies. After the Plan B blitz recently and seeing Powell releasing several foil decks, I thought “well, it’s been a while since I really added a lot of Powell Peralta decks….lemme see how much I need to catch up.”. I started with the year 2000 and worked up year by year. Holy shit! I had no idea what I was in for….about 3 weeks of all day work! Not only did I catch up Powell Peralta, but also all the other companies under the Skate One umbrella such as Golden Dragon, Hoopla, Positiv, Surf One, etc. I am probably missing 10-20 or so production decks here and there (and did not list any of the experimental or on-off or prototype decks…those will come from actual collections over time), but I think I have pretty much all of them now. I am seriously tired after this (haha) and really just want to get back to coding the new site. I think I earned the break now. (haha) This should keep you all busy a while now. Enjoy!
