I got an email today from a skate park director for a park near NYC. Anyways, they have tons of room and want to start hosting art shows. Here is the email I got.....

"Dear friends at Art of Skateboarding:
My name is Allan Cruz, I am the Skate
Park Director over in Elizabeth NJ at Rex Plex.We have a 80,000 sq ft
facility with a huge area for an art gallery. We would like to host an Art
Show for skateboarders by skateboarders. Anything from paintings to music
to photograghy would be welcome. With NYC being so close there is a such a
great skate/art commuinty that we think it would be a great event. There
are tons of young skaters that would be inspired and benefit form this. We
would like your help in contacting some of the artist, photographers, and
musicians.

Soooooooo, any of you artists out there or folks with such connections and hookups, please contact Allan. It is rare for a skatepark to privde such an opportunity (at least from my experience), so I would jump at it if I were you. Thanks again, Allan and good luck!
