Just wanted to make sure I answered a few folks questions about Nashville's CWC park. (1) they do not require full pads although they are cracking down a bit on folks wearing at least their helmet. So, this means, we suggest you at least bring yours and have it close at hand if not wearing it. (2) There's a drink machine - but I'd bring a cooler - no stores w/in walking distance. Coolers are allowed in the parking lot (huge lot!). As for adult beverages, we suggest you bring a cup to keep it in and drink only in the parking lot if at all. (3) Grills and cooking out? Yep, it's a park....it is allowed. (4) hours? OPEN @ Sunrise (now +/-6:30 AM) CLOSES @ 11 PM - Metro Nashville's finest, along w/ the Park Rangers WILL enforce this. As for directions, the park is located at 3150 McGavock Pike, Donelson TN. Get off Briley Parkway at the Wave Country exit, turn R, go 100 yards, turn R again...it's the big concrete lookin' thing. =) Located 7-10 min. from airport - 5 min from Opry Mills - 15 min. from downtown.
