It has been a tough time in the skateboarding world here lately. We have lost some incredible skaters, but more so, some wonderful people.

Last week, the Maryland area lost one of it's best. A saddened call out to all who were blessed enough to know Phil "Mr. Phil" O'Donnell. He passed from us on Tues Oct. 18th from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A memorial site is being built HERE.

In Santa Cruz on Saturday Oct. 22, Eric Costello, 34, a very popular skateboard instructor and professional skateboarder died after a bizarre, fluke accident at Skypark on Saturday. Read more HERE.

Finally, in the Boulder, Colorado area, WAC team-member Mike Lanahan passed away. No details available, but our deepest sympathies go out to the WAC crew, and to his friends and family.

This kind of news is never easy to take, but just be grateful for the time you had with these people and remember the positive ways in which they touched your life....and many others.
