I read a GREAT interview with Tim Payne (of TEAM PAIN fame) over at Juice Magazine (www.JuiceMagazine.com). Although it is a bit old...what the hey...I read it again. This time, one thing Tim said really hit home...when asked about contests "there are some things that need to be worked out in the organization. I wish contests would go back to judging people on aggression....In contests, you are getting judged on staying on the board instead of what you are doing with the board. You can have some lame-ass run and stay on the board the whole time and get judged higher than some guy that did sick tricks.
