One of the skateboarding parks at Mount Trashmore in Virginia Beach was destroyed by fire overnight. Authorities say that someone driving down I-264 called 9-1-1 around 4:00 a.m. to report a huge fire in Mount Trashmore. (*more news HERE). From early reports from the locals, it seems about half of the bowl was destroyed. At this time, investigators are looking into the possibility of this fire being caused by a lightning strike however, they are not ruling out the possibility of this being the work of an arson. No word on any suspects, motives, etc. More news as we get it.
