My good friend, Nick, emailed to let me know that Westside Skateshop (a Florida institution) has re-released John Montesi's New Deal model "Bad Dream" (the one with the Smurf graphic...haha). Coolest of all, the kept it true to the time and made is a SLICK exactly as the original!!! The top graphic is the classic New Deal sun logo that will be numbered and signed by John. They decided to make 80 numbered decks and have run off an extra 27 to be lettered and given out to friends and family. The 80 numbered/signed decks are being sold at Westside skate shop. They have pre-sold almost 20 of them at $79.99 per deck. Before you get all worked up over the price please understand that this is not just a modern day popsicle with a transfer on it.
