May 3rd was the 2nd annual Pat Wachter Bowl contest in Alabama, and once again, ArtofSkateboarding.com was one of the sponsors. This year, the venue changed temporarily as Florence, Alabama breaks ground on a new skatepark to host the event in the future. Last year's pro event was held in Alabaster, Alabama, but that city backed out on this year's contest. This forced organizers to find a new temporary location at Insanity Skate Park in Madison, AL, and par back the contest to an "amateur only" event. The contest,however, was a big success! Guest judge, Creature's Steven Reeves, did a great job and visiting Bacon skaters, Kevin Kowalski and Frank Faria, tore up the every bit of the park!
