8 Stair and 5 Stair Contests |
||||||||||||||||
After the morning session and as everyone waited for Dave Duncan to get back out to the park, the events started with contests for the locals. Skreech and Steve Reeves kicked things off with a contest on the 8 stair, and soon after making it back from dropping others at the airport, Duncan took over. The rules were simple....do a good trick and get a prize. Most got stickers or such for simple ollies. Those who really went for it got t-shirts, and for the really big tricks, some got free decks. It was a great way to offer free products outside the usual product toss free-for-all. The locals really stepped up and pulled some great tricks. Probably the most notable, young park local Will did a clean 180 frontside kickflip down the 8 stair. Local Keaton Ernst also had some nice handrail tricks in the mix. | ||||||||||||||||
