I showed up to the park shortly after 10am which was the scheduled start time for practice. I was shocked to find the park already busy
with many skaters in and around the bowl. Talking to the park manager, Dennis Hutchinson, I found out than many people were there waiting on him in the
parking lot at 9am when he opened. Skaters were chomping at the bit to ride, and it showed! I always like the practice sessions the best. You get to see people trying different things out and often going for big tricks they might not do or try in the contest. This was one of those sessions. |
